Eating habits

It's interesting talk about food. The differences between countries and cultures are significant. Today I was talking with american friends about the fact that the Pizza Hut is adding new tastes and sauces  in the pizzas. You know, in Brasil we have more or less 30 or 40 different types of the pizzas. It's so normal for us, despite so odd for them. For example, we are one of the few countries in the world that eat beans with rice. In other few countries meat from dogs are eaten, Japanese always have eaten raw fish, and so on. Of course that now, we found restaurants with these meals around the world, but it's interesting to analyze that the habits between people about food are absolutely affected by cultural characteristics, like language, colonization, weather, financial resources, values, beliefs, attitudes, and a lot of issues more. I always like to try different meals in other countries, even though, neither all the time, you can do good choices.

In the picture, I and my family eating in San Francisco, CA. A nice weekend.
