The books and the technology

Recently, I read about the fact that books could be dying. Although the statistics show us that this can be true, it is a sorrowful situation. Unfortunately for people that love books like me, we are seeing the generations forgetting the importance of the knowledge within the books and exchanging the habits almost in 100%, making searches and queries exclusively on internet. It is a sad finding.
In fact, it is almost unavoidable to use internet and the tools nowadays. I am not arguing if this is totally useless. Instead of that, we should find the information, and they come quickly and efficiently on the internet. Frankly, it is more easy and practical to use this kind of technology.
Why do we need books then? The first argument we need to realize is the fact that books have knowledge written a long the time and have the power to teach and prepare the human beings for life. Are there other forms to have knowledge? Of course. Nowadays we have computers, kindles, tablets, i-Pads, i-Phones and many other devices. Although antique people don't have complete interest in some of them, frankly, they also are absolutely important. At the other hand, I also believe to be a mistake see the original books like worthless things. In my point of view, it is incredible to have some books waiting to be read at your bookcase. It is awesome to know that you can find yourself in one good book. You can learn, imagine, to have emotions, and live some hours without technologies and devices to disturb you.
Undoubtedly, I can imagine the people living in the future without books. Without the pleasure to grab some paper with a lot of good words, smelling the old or new pages and having a great deal of time traveling in long texts. Maybe in the future, we will not have the libraries like we have nowadays, or the opportunity to get in one bookstore and spend long hours reading, searching and looking around inside that magnificent place. Although we also have people carrying books nowadays, this scene seems to be inconstantly than in the past. Actually, it is more common to have people handling electronical devices, even sometimes unaware about the others.
Summing up, we lovers of books, what will we do in the future? Maybe fight to avoid the death of our best friend or surrendering to the new technology. Honestly, we will always feel a lack of  an awesome book and to be hopeful with this new world.

How do you control your mind?

There are many situations in our lives in which we need to try control our minds. The emotions involved in different types of situations offer to our minds a variety of challenges. For example, you may be living unemployed now. In fact, if you are living it now, it’s possible that day after day you have been more upset, stressed and without control of the feelings. How can you put up with the passed situations to control your mind?

Firstly of all it is necessary to understand that the nature of our mind is not the logic. On the other hand, our mind works based on the subjective moments, as if the mind worked more based on emotions than facts.

For example, if you are unemployed now, it is possible to be with lack of confidence. In addiction, it is possible to be suffering with lack of money, resources and hope. How may you rely on yourself? It is a difficult situation where you need to recover the confidence and pursuit the opportunities with new self-assurance.

Secondly, all the happenings seen to our minds the definitely ones, as though we may not change the fate. Instead of that, we need to construct a new reality, trying to convince our minds about new possibilities. You will not be the rest of your life like you are now. You need to reset your mind to believe in new perspectives. Is it easy to do it? Of course that not, but you need to rely on yourself, find out the better form to put up with the uncomfortable situation and grow up a little more in your life and career.

What is the secret then? You need to realize that you will not find a prepared secret to change your mind. Each person is different from another. Otherwise, it is easy to say that the answer to your trouble is in yourself. You need to find out what is the way to recover your confidence. You need to detect what have done you suffer before the unbearable situation get in. And mainly, you need to change something. Otherwise the perspectives will not be so interesting.

Some tips:

1- Find out something that increases your self-confidence and do it.

2- Breathe deeply and relax, all the times that you see yourself losing the control of the situation.

3- Invest your time and money making fruitful things.

4- When you are stressed, do not try to do something important. Otherwise, chill out, listen music and watch a movie. When you have been feeling better, you will be prepared to make decisions.

5- Try to see different points of view to be sure how is the better decision to have.

6- Be patient with yourself. You will not change so fast. In fact, let the time change yourself.

7- Set your mind to develop. Be afraid is one of the biggest problems when you are trying to grow up.

Of course that it is possible to list more solutions for our problems. Like I said before, you need to find out your better ways. Make your own list. Find out your path to be a victorious professional, human being and contributor. Acknowledge about yourself and take the rein of your life.

Making a murderer

The truly story behind "Making a Murderer", an original Netflix series where a man called Steve Avery was condemned two times to murdered two women could put in check the justice system in USA or in any part of the world. Steve Avery passed eighteen years in jail innocently, because after this time was proved by DNA that he was innocent. The guilty was the State that did not investigate the whole thing correctly. After that, a journalist died supposedly inside the Steven's property, and now he is living inside a jail again. Is he innocent or guilty? Was this second case a plot and trap from the authorities?
 In the series you can see the introduction about his life and the happenings about his first arrest. After that, the producers present a long story after the Steve's freedom and the condemnation from the State. Swiftly you see a man being condemned for another slaughter. During long chapters it's possible to watch the mistakes and plots in the case, thus the trial where Steve Avery has been condemned to be in prison forever. All the case is odd, confuse and tough to decide who is guilty.
Firstly, if Steve is guilty, and is possible, a good deal of mistakes was done and show us the incompetence and lack of professionalism between the police, investigators and prosecutors. A lot of contradictions and suspicious proves can be found in this case, and whether the justice is been done is absolutely by chance, because this case shows a lot of mistakes.
Secondly, if Steve is innocent, one more time a man is fulfilling a time in prison (in this case the rest of his life) because either the police and investigators are incompetent and unprepared or they are persecuting with a plot a man that have been trying to show the mistakes that these men had done in the first time, when he was absolutely innocent. This second scenario, if truly, is totally disgusting and sad.
Concluding, I would like to invite you to watch and live a ride of thrill in this series and have your own opinion about this case. One thing is sure you will see a lot of real scenes and feel a lot of emotions like: happiness, sadness, disgust, anger, hope and hopeless.

For a better future?!

Since I was a child, I have been listening a lot of people around me saying that Brasil is a potencial country to be a first world nation. Unfortunately, one government comes another goes and our country carry on without grow up or flourish like a promissory nation. Today, like in 1992 we had in Brasil another impeachment process. The result is not what I want to comment here, but the void hope between our population.
Firstly, I am favorable to the impeachment like I am favorable to punishment for all the corruptive politicians in our country, but I am not a foolish guy. This impeachment will not change our culture or the form like the population votes. Tomorrow, the population will vote in corrupt politicians again, because we need to learn like to be respectful, polite, smart and not more think in our benefits but in the Brasil's ones.
Secondly, this section at the House of Representatives shows to the world like our representatives are uneducated, hypocrites and do not respect the nation. Watching the process I had impression to be watching a circus in action. Interesting see a lot of corrupt politicians taking off another one. The dirty judging the other dirty.
Then, I hope to live in one better country in the future. I hope to have a serious country for my family. I hope that my daughter can be proud on this country one day. We need to learn and change our corrupt minds. I will carry on hoping for a special day when we will smile with a country working correctly without corruption, manipulation and impunity.

Brasil needs us

Recently we saw a lot of things going on in the brasilian politics. Most part of these happenings bring to me a big shame. It's incredible like we (Brazilians) don't have control against our political corruption. We have seen on TV and in other broadcasts a lot of reasons to believe that almost all of our politicians are guilty in corruptive actions, but seem that part of our population have closed the eyes for that. And I am not condemning one person to protect another. For example, I believe the ex-president of our country (Lula from PT) is guilty, like I also believe that Alckmin (governor of São Paulo) and Aécio Neves (Congressman and ex-governor from Minas Gerais) from another political party (PSDB) are guilty too. In my opinion the population in Brasil have protected some political parties and the representatives with self-interest. This is the biggest problem in Brasil.
When someone close the eyes to the corruption within your political party and only see the guilty in another, the things are absolutely wrong, because we need to rescue our country and not the politicians. This is what's murdering this nation: the people that have protected the political parties.
Brasil is not only a third world country that has never been improving. In my point of view, Brasil is a sick country. Brasil has a serious illness. The cancer that have distressed our nation is called political parties. These institutions are powerful instrument in our society. While these things keep happening and the political parties have been receiving support from our population, we will not improve. The brasilians need to change the mind and not more defend the politicians and your political parties, but this awesome sleepy giant called Brasil.

During this week I had a tough challenge. I needed to make a poem with phrasal verbs. After I received this task, I worked a lot. Follow the result:

You drop me off big challenge
Phrasal verb may cause damage
Pointing to words to pick out
Won't be so easy to freak out

I won't chill out this time
Even with tough insight
Boiling down with my task
Looking forward like request

Come up with good ideas
Can be more like ideologias
If you pile up some words
You'll run over the glasses of Lords

Don't doze off a lot
Or you won't catch up the plot
If you cannot work out the faith
Stay off and break out the cage

Take apart all these sentences
And you don't have ordinances
Because tear words down
Is like lay off the wisdom

And take you out for our pleasure
I'm not a person to cheat on

Women's Day

I am grateful for all the women that live around me. All of them are absolutely special. First, there's my mother that carried me within the womb and taught me all the things. My grandmother the bigger example of life for me. My wife and the mother of my daughter that I am spending a long time. To you all of my love. You have completed me. All my respect to all the teachers that have taught me the whole things that I know. My little daughter also, with only five year is helping me to be a better man. My sister, so distant now, thank you too. For all the other relatives, friends, students and others more: Thank you. You, the women, are the best. The world couldn't be good without all of you.
